Fybroids

Fybroids

Uterine fybroids are more common place than people might think. As many as 80% of women develop Uterine fybroids some time during their reproductive years, before menopause. Although if the fybroids are relativly small the woman will not experience any symptoms at all and may go unchecked for years.

Women go for a diagnosis only when the fybroids start giving them problems. The symptoms that begin to occur include swelling in the abdomen, urination at frequent intervals or problems in digestion. All these symptoms depend on the place where the fybroid is located and also on its size. Women also experience painful or excessive menstrual periods. Sexual intercourse might be painful if the fibroid is located close to the cervix.

The first way a doctor can detect fybroids is during a pelvic exam, where the physician feels for them in pelvic regions.Your medical practitioner can also locate Fybroids through x-rays, CAT scans and hysterosalpingograms, which is a X-ray examination of the uterus and oviducts following injection of a radiopaque substance. Another way is to perform an ultrasound test. Doctors can use this to assess whether you have fybroids, and the size of the tumors. Other methods of getting a definite diagnosis are dangerous. These include laparoscopy surgery or a hysteroscopy, which is the inspection of the uterine cavity by endoscopy . These are both invasive procedures which require anaesthetic to carry out.

Your doctor will first suggest the use of pharmaceutical drugs to treat your fybroids. But if the fybroids is bad enough your physician will suggest surgery. These pills are full of artificial progesterone and stop fybroids from growing. However they can also stop you from conceiving a infant. This is because a large number of the drugs are also used as birth control.

The other drug known as a gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist can be prescribed to bring down the production of hormones in the human body. The side effects of such drugs can be drastic in selected cases, since they bring on a condition comparable to menopause. This signifies that you could encounter hot flashes, insomnia, diminished sex drive, depression, joint distress and a loss of bone density. They are not an alternative in case you would wish to conceive a baby.

Hysterectomy, myomectomy and Uterine Fybroid Embolization are the surgical choices for fybroids. Surgery is not a feasible alternative for some women since they are scared of being operated upon, thus they search for different alternatives that do not require surgery and have zero side effects.

Firstly I ask the client with fybroids to transform her diet. Consume more organic fruits and vegetables, and cut down on the amount of meat and milk products intake, and move these to organic alternatives also. A majority of food bought at the supermarket is treated with chemicals during some phase and these chemicals are the prime cause of the rapid growth of fybroids.

It is unfortunate that these chemicals cannot be broken down and they go on accumulating. This is the reason why the fybroids of women go on worsening with age- the chemicals go on accumulating leading to an increase in the fybroid’s growth. A 28-day body cleanse is required to get rid of these chemicals during which the intake of green super foods is increased as it helps in removing these chemicals more rapidly.
